WHR sells prime Cheadle site

WHR Property Consultancy has sold the former Post Office sorting depot in Cheadle to a private investor, achieving more than £400,000 for the 3,500 sq ft site.

Simon Hampson of WHR Property Consultancy said: "The site proved to be extremely popular and we received more than 10 significant offers for it, comfortably exceeding the original marketing price of £400,000. We were very impressed with the level of interest that this site presented as it was a unique opportunity to invest in a growing Cheshire town."

The former sorting depot was recently closed when operations were relocated locally and would provide an ideal opportunity for a prime leisure or retail use.
